Description

• Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Director • Supporting global IT infrastructure and providing day-to-day support for over 60 staff across more than 12 countries • Responsibilities include technical expertise, analytical thinking, and commitment to continuous improvement • Manage IT services and vendor collaboration • Oversee IT infrastructure management, optimization, and security measures

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of work experience in Information Technology, preferably including cybersecurity • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN administration, cybersecurity best practices, and service contracts • Previous experience in international non-profit environment preferred • Creating IT infrastructure policies and building and implementing new systems • Evaluating security and usability of privacy-focused apps and platforms • Data Hygiene policy development, planning and implementation (including automated systems in e.g. Google Suite, Slack, Zoom) • Public Key Cryptography -- training and key management e.g. for PGP/GPG • Tor infrastructure for security/privacy goals (e.g. Tor Browser, TAILS, OnionShare) • Deploying and managing secure desktop environments
