Description

• The CFO will oversee all tracking of cash flow and financial planning • Analyze the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective actions • Direct the preparation of current financial reports and create forecasts predicting future growth • Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports • Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads • Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets • Review planning process and suggest improvements to current methods • Analyze operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination • Work with the President and CEO to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process • Study long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales • Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas • Improve current processes and optimize organizational financial procedures for efficiency and productivity • Monitor the performance of investments including creating reports using business software • Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment or spending decisions • Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in a business management or executive role • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity • Excellent mathematical and analysis skills • Knowledge of analysis and financial software • Strong creative skills to develop new and innovative solutions • Ability to create and deliver unbiased budget expectations for different departments
