Description

β€’ Partner closely with Sales team as technical point of contact for customers. β€’ Conduct technical discussions with engineers and business conversations with CIOs. β€’ Develop and position solutions for Rapid7's security offerings. β€’ Engage with customers throughout the pre-sales evaluation cycle. β€’ Provide on-stand demonstrations at events and industry trade shows.

Requirements

β€’ A real passion for learning new skills and technologies. β€’ Assists sales in technical qualification. β€’ A technical background, preferably in the Security space. β€’ In-depth knowledge of multiple Operating Systems and Security Solutions. β€’ A genuine interest in helping your customers achieve their goals. β€’ The ability to relate to and engage members of both the technical and non-technical community. β€’ Highly competent interpersonal skills in English. β€’ Must be able to present effectively in front of large groups, both technically and non-technically oriented. β€’ The ability to be self-driven, enthusiastic and determined to succeed. β€’ An understanding of the sales process and the roles and responsibilities involved. β€’ Experience of working in a startup or other fast-paced environment. β€’ Experience as a security practitioner within a commercial or public-sector organization. β€’ A good understanding of network topology, TCP/IP network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.). β€’ Expertise in IT, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, DevOps, Application Security or Security Automation. β€’ Expertise in one or more cloud environments. For example; AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud.
