📋 Description
• In a world where many social apps measure success by time spent online, Raya is a tech company focused on providing utility. • Our iOS only app is a tool for discovery of exciting people, events, and recommendations globally. • Raya is looking for a Senior Data Scientist I to generate actionable insights for better recommendations. • This role will focus on activation, monetization, and maps. • The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in a Data Science role, with expertise in causal inference in Python.
🎯 Requirements
• Degree in quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or equivalent) or highly relevant industry experience • 3+ years of experience working in a data science role focusing on product analytics and experimentation for a B2C tech company (dating, gaming, social media) • Expert in SQL • Strong knowledge in statistics • Familiarity with data transformation tools (e.g. dbt, Airflow) • Strong in proactive verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Good business instincts with an ability to prioritize their team’s work against the highest impact areas • Natural curiosity for exploring data • Accountability and delivery
