• With more than 60 years of success in the food equipment industry, Reiser is recognized worldwide for its high-quality equipment, innovative engineering, and outstanding service and support. • Total commitment to our customers is at the core of who we are, making Reiser the one supplier that food manufacturers can trust for better, smarter food processing and food packaging solutions and equipment. • Our Vision Robert Reiser & Co. will serve the food industry and other selected markets by selling and supporting equipment that provides solutions to customer needs. • Every customer contact will result in an improved relationship with that customer. • We will continuously strive to strengthen our supplier partnerships. • We will encourage our fellow employees to reach their potential. • Therefore, we will earn a fair profit and ensure our future. • As a Business Development Manager with Reiser, you will drive Reiser’s petfood market growth. • You will be responsible for understanding the petfood market and opportunities for the Reiser portfolio. • You will develop a strategy and plan on how to best grow this market. • In this plan, you will identify the top customers that require a national approach and serve as key account manager (“KAM”) for these customers. • You will represent Reiser in relevant trade associations, develop relationships at key customers, understand the organizations that we should serve, develop sales strategies that help our local sales efforts, and support the sales at the local level. • You will work closely with regional and national sales organizations, product managers, and our Customer Service team to support and grow Reiser’s petfood market.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred but not required if exceptional experience. • Five + years of experience selling capital equipment (preferably in food processing/packaging/pet food). • Experience selling to the meat/protein industry is highly preferred. • Ability to travel overnight approximately 80% during the week. • Excellent written verbal and platform skills. • Aggressive, enthusiastic and determined individual with a proven track record of success. • Understands importance of selling equipment with the added service component and working closely with service team. • MS Office suite of products and specifically Word and Excel. • Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task. • Comfortable communicating with people on the shop floor to presidents of companies. • Persistent and Competitive • Resiliency • Honesty and Integrity • Create Value Add • Excellent networking skills • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail • Sales and numbers driven as well as meeting targets and deadlines • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization • Maintain an extreme high-level of confidentiality • Customer and Employee Focus • Ability to listen and establish a rapport – Empathetic • Resourceful and a strong ability to network • Must be Passionate and confident • Ability to lead • Must have a sense of humor
