Description

• Partner with hiring managers to provide end to end recruitment of organisational roles • Coordinate recruitment activities including advertising and attracting suitable candidates through multiple forums • Identify future hiring needs and develop strategies/solutions • Remain up-to –date on the requirements of the various positions in the organisation and relevant legislation • Answer enquiries from potential candidates and the general public about working for Respect, the current job vacancies, and/or the status of an application • Assist with the on-boarding of candidates including confirmation of classification and relevant entitlements in accordance with Respect's Industrial Instruments • Assist the leadership team and hiring managers with candidate screening, assessment interpretation and interviews, as required • Assist the leadership team and hiring managers undertake reference and background checking on potentially successful candidates, as required • Interpret customer needs while demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of the diversity of Respect business units • In conjunction with the TA Manager, contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment related policies, procedures and systems within the organisation • Work collaboratively with the TA Manager on a range of People and Culture projects and related activities • Work with and support the TA Manager and the leadership team to achieve both strategic and operational objectives

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or previous experience in a similar role • 3+ years of experience in a recruitment role - either external agency or internal • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire)
