Description
• Provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical Oracle Database software • Research, troubleshoot, and support of multiple client architectures • Develop, test, and deliver fixes for serious issues in complex environments • Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment
Requirements
• 10+ years relevant Oracle DBA experience, including RAC and Exadata • Expertise in all major versions of Oracle DB technology • Hands-on operational expertise as an Oracle DBA, with technology including RAC, Dataguard, High Availability, Backup/Recovery and Exadata • Expertise with Oracle Databases, including implementation experience, upgrade, configuration and administration • Expertise in performance tuning • Knowledge of Oracle maintenance/patching mechanics • Experience with administration, installation and/or debug of other Oracle DB Technologies, like Golden Gate and Enterprise Manager would be a bonus • Experience with administration, installation and/or debug of other DB Technologies, like MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB would be a bonus • A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful • Fluency in an additional language (preferably Spanish), while not mandatory, would be useful
