Description

• Collaborate with university partners to reconcile billing files and prepare invoices. • Reconcile with the accounting department to ensure invoices are entered into the accounting system correctly. • Assist the accounting department in making accruals for all unbilled programs and starts. • Invoice hospitals that are part of 3rd party billing with universities • Track collections from partners, and follow up on any discrepancies between the amount billed and the amount paid.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, including writing queries, executing stored procedures, and troubleshooting issues with queries. • Expert level skills with Excel • Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as the ability to present, listen and accept instruction. • Ability to break down ideas/issues leading to solutions as well as conduct research to uncover answers and provide solutions. • Organized and highly detail oriented. • Self-directed, yet strong orientation to be successful in groups and on teams. • Ability to quickly develop a strong knowledge of company business, data, clients, and processes • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to leverage relationships and work with key partners in various departments • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities, schedules and budgets. • Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
