Description

• Oversee development and execution of design strategy for the Platform group • Manage team of designers to create seamless, data-driven user experiences • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data stakeholders • Maintain and evolve end-to-end design process ensuring efficient workflows • Champion user-centered design principles informed by user research and testing • Utilize data analytics and user feedback to inform design choices • Present design concepts to senior leadership, articulating design rationale • Design, create, and test prototypes to validate user needs • Maintain and evolve the company’s design system for consistency • Drive continuous innovation for user engagement • Stay informed of industry trends and design best practices • Participate in recruitment for design talent

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in user experience design or similar role • At least 2 years of experience in a role with design management responsibilities • Proficient in Figma, experience with similar tools like Sketch is valued • Strong understanding of how design translates into code, adept at communicating with engineering teams • Effective executor and skilled mentor, capable of leading initiatives from concept to completion • Empathy and leadership, considering the impact of designs on users • Strategic thinker and problem-solver, tackling challenges innovatively while mentoring others • Open mind, willing to mentor and lead by example, compromising for project success • Excel in collaborative environment, sharing work and critiquing others
