Description
• Full-time remote opportunity located anywhere in the United States • Working on customer engagements to help install, configure, implement, and provide training for the IBM Omegamon product family • Strong working knowledge of IBM z/OS, DB2, CICS and IMS required • Provide technical expertise for the OMEGAMON product family to our customers and partners. • Develop in-depth conceptual and technical knowledge of Rocket product line including new releases, new products and interfaces. • Present and deliver highly technical presentations and training on Rocket products. • Provide best practices guidance and technical expertise during the installation, configurations, implementation and post-implementation servicing of company products. • Review existing customer implementations to ensure best practices are utilized for maximum customer satisfaction and ongoing business retention. • Liaison with Support and Lab to research and respond to detailed questions from prospective and current customers.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work-related experience • 8 + years as a Systems Programmer or other similar position • 4+ years development, application lifecycle or change management experience • 4+ years Consulting, or team lead experience • Expertise with OMEGAMON tools and processes • Exceptional communication skills • Availability to travel 5-15%
