• RP Professional Services is a rapidly growing Technology consulting firm headquartered in Virginia. • RP is seeking a Data Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). • This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can oversee data governance, ensure data integrity, and manage data-related projects to support VA mission objectives. • The Data Manager will play a key role in establishing data management processes, ensuring compliance with data standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to leverage data for decision-making.
🎯 Requirements
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL frameworks. • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality standards. • Ability to interpret and implement data security controls in compliance with federal regulations. • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles. • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data privacy regulations. • Experience managing large data sets, including data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. • Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Must be eligible for a Public Trust Clearance • Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting government or healthcare IT environments. • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. • Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, or equivalent. • Experience with cloud data services such as AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery. • Familiarity with data security standards and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
