📋 Description
• The Associate Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for assisting with building and maintaining the infrastructure, networking and third party integrations necessary for creating a highly available/reliable solution for running a n-tier application. • This role requires assisting with maintaining fault tolerant systems that meet the reliability and availability requirements from a SLA commitment standpoint. • They work closely with Senior Site Reliability Engineers, Clients and Cloud Service Engineers to implement and maintain the infrastructure solution. • They participate in activities associated with the environment standup, networking and third party integrations.
🎯 Requirements
• BS in Computer Science, or related field • Familiarity with site reliability engineering practices, system documentation, and/or configuration procedures • Good understanding of relational databases or database systems, preferably SQL Server • Experience working in a Windows/Linux Environment providing system analysis and support • Collaborate on the implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software, and upgrades • Good understanding of cloud, preferably Azure • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Self-motivated; thrives in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical problem-solving skills • Ability to quickly grasp and understand both business and technical concepts • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Familiarity with TFS or Azure DevOps • Experience with large-scale public sector IT projects, especially for Revenue or Finance agencies
