📋 Description

• Ensure smooth operation of Eventbrite’s platform from frontend to backend. • Perform requirements analysis; design, launch and extend microservices; troubleshoot systems and identify root causes. • Support transition from self-hosted to cloud-managed services. • Identify opportunities to optimize systems and automate workflows. • Partner with Security team to protect Eventbrite’s systems and data. • Use tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Puppet to automate infrastructure provisioning. • Automate manual tasks required for platform support. • Work closely with AWS to containerize applications and provision infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years relevant experience in SRE, Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles. • Experience with Linux systems administration (Ubuntu preferred). • Programming skills (Python or Ruby or Go) and understanding of computer science fundamentals. • Experience with AWS and cloud architectures/services. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes. • Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Puppet). • Experience enabling CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, Gitlab). • Ability to handle on-call duty. • Track record of delivering solutions and collaborating with others.
