📋 Description
• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers • Develop and mentor staff to reach goals • Carry out managerial responsibilities • Ensure compliance with corporate warehouse policies and procedures • Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes • Manage the dispatch of contract carriers • Train and develop contract carriers and dispatchers • Ensure all work is completed accurately • Allocate and request additional resources as needed
🎯 Requirements
• 4 years of related logistics and supervisory experience • Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or similar (preferred) • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights, and weekends • Experience mentoring, training, and guiding newer/less-experienced team members (preferred) • Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write, and speak both languages) (preferred)
