Description

• Develop features and build infrastructure to integrate with external platforms like Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce • Build and maintain high-quality APIs for eCommerce, focusing on tracking orders, order placement, returns, and search engines • Stand up new infrastructure on GCP, Netlify, etc. • Write high-quality documentation for our developer customers • Work independently and communicate updates proactively with a remote-first team

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in backend engineering, with some experience working in a fast-paced startup environment • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is highly desirable (or similar) • Experience building systems with a GraphQL API and a gRPC backend system • Strong understanding of best practices in software engineering and API development • Interest is working with customers and providing high-quality technical documentation • Excellent communication skills, growth mindset, thoughtful, and ability to work independently under tight timelines • Nice to have: Working knowledge of external platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce is a plus
