Description

• The Payroll Projects and Systems Manager will lead process improvement projects and system implementations. • Will oversee systems aspects for payroll and timekeeping, ensuring compliance with legislation. • Partner with Payroll team to define business requirements and translate needs into systems. • Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure data integrity for accurate payrolls. • Lead execution and delivery of technology solutions from start to finish. • Provide customer service and communicate project status to stakeholders regularly. • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. • Use planning tools such as Jira to provide a clear vision for scope and workflows. • Provide domain thought leadership in Payroll and Timekeeping technology landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) • 4-6 years direct experience Payroll Tax and supporting multi-state payroll • Project Management experience • Extensive background within Payroll Systems – configuration and programming experience, new customer onboarding • People leadership experience (required) • Strong Kronos knowledge • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Strong analytical and problem skills. • Demonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. • Demonstrated ability to make payroll decisions and provide guidance to employees. • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, motivate, and coach a team. • Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment. • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects.
