📋 Description
• Design and develop next-generation IoT AI vision sensors and SafelyYou life safety devices • Partner with product management team to define, design, and implement mission-critical features • Mentor junior team members and lead projects through the full development lifecycle
🎯 Requirements
• Experience using yocto/openembedded building embedded Linux systems and applications • Experience with system software like systemd, cryptsetup, docker, iptables • Experience with GStreamer or other video processing pipelines • Experience with SoC VPUs, ISPs or other hardware video processing pipelines • Experience with SNPE, OpenGL, or other compute accelerators like CUDA, PyTorch, BLAS, AVX • Basic hardware knowledge relevant for embedded Linux devices • Intermediate software knowledge relevant for embedded Linux devices • Optical system design experience - image sensor, lens, illumination • IoT or edge device design and integration • Has worked with an OEM/ODM to customize their product to company-specific requirements • Has designed or developed a Qualcomm (or NXP, Ambarella, etc) Linux or Android device • 7+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent in a SaaS company, preferably in a startup environment • Proven track record of designing and developing IoT solutions, preferably with AI/Computer vision capabilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate multi-functionally • Prioritize quality over speed. When it’s done, it’s really done. • Passionate about our mission and our technology • Proactive about anticipating and addressing issues before they arise
