📋 Description
• Set up workpapers, including for journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics. • Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany balancing, and assist with multi-company consolidation. • Prepare and maintain monthly accounting support workpapers. • Perform account and variance analysis as requested by management. • Assist with statutory regulatory filings, including premium tax and other state required regulatory filings. • Support the preparation of supplemental financial exhibits and various other accounting statements and reports. • Support the preparation of annual financial reports. • Help prepare information for independent auditors and tax preparers.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or a business-related field. • Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting role. • General understanding of GAAP policies, and internal controls. • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite with an emphasis on Excel skills. • Ability to meet strict deadlines, both independently and as part of a team. • Detail oriented and the ability to deliver work products with a high degree of accuracy. • Strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to convey complex information. • Available to work across time zones with flexibility to follow-up on items outside of business hours, including weekends.
