β’ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. β’ Understand clients' business needs and objectives to effectively drive digital transformation using Heroku solutions. β’ Use skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting. β’ Focus on customer success to help drive growth in existing Heroku accounts. β’ Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives β’ Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with various sales resources to ensure strategic alignment β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical support, to meet customer needs. β’ Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals to customers. β’ Stay informed about industry trends and competitors in the Heroku space. β’ Understand the broader Salesforce product portfolio, and how Heroku drives strategic value in the Customer 360
β’ 7+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management experience. β’ Managing the sales cycle from technology champion to the c-suite (CIO, CISO, CTO) β’ Experience selling complex technologies to primarily an IT buyer β’ Consistent track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions. β’ Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. β’ Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
