β€’ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. β€’ Understand clients' business needs and objectives to effectively drive digital transformation using Heroku solutions. β€’ Use skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting. β€’ Focus on customer success to help drive growth in existing Heroku accounts. β€’ Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives β€’ Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with various sales resources to ensure strategic alignment β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical support, to meet customer needs. β€’ Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals to customers. β€’ Stay informed about industry trends and competitors in the Heroku space. β€’ Understand the broader Salesforce product portfolio, and how Heroku drives strategic value in the Customer 360

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 7+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management experience. β€’ Managing the sales cycle from technology champion to the c-suite (CIO, CISO, CTO) β€’ Experience selling complex technologies to primarily an IT buyer β€’ Consistent track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions. β€’ Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. β€’ Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
