Description
• Samsara is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to play a leading role in our Product Security team. • The team’s goal is to secure our cloud, mobile and embedded software and infrastructure through a secure development lifecycle. • You’ll be a thought leader on a team that maintains the identity and access management features of our platform. • There is a lot of work to do to protect our customers and business against risk.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience. • Deep subject matter expertise in authentication and authorization in multi-tenant platforms. • 12+ years of experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions with at least 4 of those years in an architect or leadership role. • Demonstrated ability to ship production-quality software in a dynamic environment. • Expertise working with web services at massive scale deployed on Cloud providers such as AWS or Azure. • Is an expert in writing high quality, performant and maintainable code in a modern programming language. • Know your way around a UNIX shell and a Linux operating system.
