Description

• To be responsible for driving the sales and business development of the SANS product portfolio in the UK. • This role involves nurturing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and effectively representing the SANS brand in alignment with the company’s values and mission. • Build and uphold the SANS brand while reducing competitors’ presence. • Enhance revenue and grow the public sector through targeted strategies. • Develop and win new accounts through proactive networking. • Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring positive and productive interactions. • Translate emerging Cyber Security trends into client solutions. • Meet and exceed agreed targets, KPIs, and performance objectives. • Ensure timely settlement of outstanding customer invoices. • Acquire a thorough understanding of the SANS portfolio to generate and identify quality opportunities. • Stay updated on the latest Cyber Security trends and developments. • Articulate SANS's business strategy effectively, and support campaigns to drive revenue growth. • Maintain an accurate sales forecast and robust pipeline. • Implement effective sales plans using standard methodologies. • Adhere to established sales processes and procedures. • Develop relationships with key stakeholders within SANS and the wider team. • Take on additional responsibilities as needed by the management team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Business Development/Sales role, ideally in Government, Military or Commercial sectors. • Educated to degree level or equivalent. • Strong influencing and negotiation skills. • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities. • Self-motivated, tenacious, and resilient with a proven track record in delivering business results. • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with CRM systems. • Experienced in utilizing social media platforms for business development. • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets in a field sales role. • Strong organizational and planning skills, with keen attention to detail. • Decisive and innovative, displaying strategic thinking capabilities. • Evidence of adapting services to meet customer needs, ensuring quality service delivery. • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and foster team morale. • Exceptional networking and communication skills at all organizational levels, both internally and externally. • Willingness to travel as needed and work outside standard hours when required. • Competent in using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Tableau. • Knowledge of the Cyber Security sector, particularly in sales.
