📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • The Senior Staff Accountant is an experienced member of the accounting team. • This role provides mentorship and support to the accounting team. • Maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. • Create and distribute customer invoices for weekly and monthly variable billing. • Process client contracts and initiate billing. • Assist in the management of finance queues to ensure timely turnaround time. • Assist with data entry for vendor charges and bills. • Reconcile data and maintain from various databases and spreadsheets. • Perform proper revenue recognition for recurring and one-time invoices. • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. • Provide support for integration of new customers into accounting processes during acquisitions. • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports. • Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings. • Support other accounting projects and assist with automation and process improvement efforts. • Other duties, as assigned.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional finance/accounting experience is required. • Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Excellent organizational abilities. • Driven, self-motivated, and goal oriented. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
