Description

•Scholar Rock is a biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and delivers life-changing therapies for people with serious diseases that have high unmet need. •This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate sales leader to play a critical role in enabling the successful launch of apitegromab, the company’s phase 3 candidate for the treatment of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). •The Area Business Director (West) will oversee the area designated sales organization to achieve or exceed revenue targets and strengthen the success of Scholar Rock’s first commercial product.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with significant commercial leadership experience •Ability to develop strategic sales plans with a successful track record in attracting, motivating, and managing high-performing sales teams to achieve or exceed sales goals •Proven skills in leadership, strategic selling and negotiating •Polished presentation skills •Previous product launch experience, preferably in rare and/or neuromuscular disease •General understanding of U.S. payer and market access dynamics •Thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements •Outstanding communication, relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels and disciplines
