Description

• Manage the end-to-end art outsourcing process, including sourcing, contract/pricing negotiations, budgeting, onboarding, and maintaining communication with external art studios and individual artists. • Manage communications and provide feedback to artists and help maintain a strong creative relationship between external and internal art teams. • Generate detailed documentation, visual reference, and examples of art asset production, procedures, and requirements to support the external vendors. • Own the quality control over all incoming art assets, providing detailed feedback and approvals in order to deliver quality assets to the development team. • Work closely with the art director and production team to determine outsourcing needs, pipelines, budgets and costs for art assets. • Coordinate with external vendors to schedule and track incoming assets. • Create new art pipelines from scratch as well identify, onboard, and manage new artists.

Requirements

• Experience as an Art Outsource Manager or a similar role within the gaming or entertainment industries. • Clear and concise communications, leadership, and people skills. • In-depth understanding of the game development process and the ability to align art outsourcing activities with internal project milestones and deadlines. • Ability to manage multiple art pipelines across multiple delivery dates. • A creative eye for detail and a deep appreciation for visual aesthetics, ensuring the delivery of assets that align with our artistic vision. • Understanding of the visual style of card games and a passion to push it to the next level. • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address potential challenges and optimize the outsourcing process. • Highly organized, self-driven, and a great team player. • Knowledge of Marvel to help create content that the community will love.
