• Primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address eligibility, claim, and payment issues or to address and perform patient scheduling and referral work. • Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education. • Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries. • Schedules a high volume of procedures for patients in a computerized scheduling system. • Accountable for accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process, ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested, has been scheduled. • Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, and various clerical duties within scope of role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent • Two years of Customer Service experience • Experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician's office setting preferred • High Volume call center experience preferred • Epic EMR experience preferred • Data entry skills • Must be available for a 11/04/24 start date.
