Description

• Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns • Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer • Lead Proof of concept/value engagements • Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work. • Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery. • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective. • Active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting. • 7+ years of experience in the computer networking or security space, ideally in a pre-sales role. • Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies. • Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership. • Superior communication skills including whiteboarding, public speaking and technical writing. • Operational or sales experiences with SaaS, Identity or Active Directory a plus. • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%.
