Description

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Post journal entries and ensure the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date. • Review, classify, and record expenses while ensuring they align with company policies and budget guidelines. • Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses. • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience of 2+ years in accounting role. • 2+ years of accounting experience in a similar role. • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero) and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Familiarity with GAAP principles. • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. • High level of accuracy and analytical skills to ensure financial records are error-free. • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting discrepancies and inefficiencies.
