Description

• Fully Remote position • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. • Analyze and translate business needs into detailed system requirements and functional specifications. • Provide in-depth knowledge and insights into the SAMIS and CMCS legacy systems. • Assist in identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement in the transition to Appian solutions. • Collaborate with refactoring and modernization teams to ensure Appian applications are up to date and efficient. • Ensure information assurance and quality assurance in all Appian applications. • Engage with Business Owners, Business Architect, and System Architects. • Capture/understand business objectives, measures, and targets to provide traceability. • Analyze current business environment to detect deficiencies and identify improvement opportunities. • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements. • Document and deliver training as needed.

Requirements

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. • Candidate must be clearable at the PUBLIC TRUST level. • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum 10 years consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience with the following: • Legacy systems such as SAMIS and CMCS - – NATURAL, COBOL, ADABAS, FOCUS. • Refactoring and modernization efforts. • Business Process Analysis, application development, and system administration. • Navigating BA Workflow, Agile Scrum, and Project Management tools (Jira, MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Business Process / Rules repositories). • Familiarity with Appian software and its application within a business context. • Proven understanding and application of Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and Kanban software development methodologies. • Proficiency with user interface design. • Ability to work in a cross-functional team. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills.
