• The Sales Hiring Specialist leads the selection process for all Mid-Market Sales Development Representative (SDR) candidates. • This includes partnering with Sales Management to ensure that top talent is being sourced, conducting all interviews, and making hiring decisions that will result in increased retention. • Conducts interviews for all Mid-Market SDR open positions and makes hiring decisions. • Partners with Talent Acquisition and Inside Sales to ensure top talent is being sourced and is aligned with the current hiring profile for the SDR role. • Recommends sourcing strategies and changes to the current profile based on turnover and achievement of performance metrics. • Measures the current sourcing, selection, and interview process and regularly reports on those measurements along with recommendations on ways to drive efficiency and effectiveness. • Maintains all hiring/turnover data to provide Sales Management and Talent Acquisition insight into trends and inform proactive solutions. • Conducts new hire orientation and is responsible for all onboarding communication with new hires. • Conducts exit interviews with SDRs who voluntarily resign to capture up-to-date reasons for their resignations and incorporates that feedback in their interviewing strategies.

Requirements

• Expert in conducting behavioral interviews, trained in formal behavioral interview methodology. • Extensive experience conducting behavioral interviews, preferably for sales roles. • Experience in interviewing techniques and ways to overcome interviewing biases ensuring diverse top talent. • Ability to use different questioning techniques to solicit complete responses from candidates. • Ability to partner cross functionally and build solid relationships to drive changes resulting in improvement outcomes. • Ability to analyze data, see trends, and translate those trends into action items. • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills. • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership. • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view. • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision. • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization. • Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever-changing business needs. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Solid decision-making in a timely manner.
