• This is a remote position. • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Client System Administrator to join our team. • As a Client System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance. • You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to address technical issues, implement system upgrades, and provide proactive support. • Install, configure, and maintain client systems, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure uptime and reliability. • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security enhancements to protect against cyber threats. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data. • Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure hardware, software, and IT services as needed. • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on system functionality and best practices. • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in system administration, preferably in a client-facing role. • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS. • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN setups. • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users. • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
