• Analyzes market, competitive and manufacturer data and makes recommendation regarding pricing parameters/ inputs to the D2C/B2B pricing algorithms • Writes the decision rules to set price on our marketplace channels • Support determination of the rules and selected products that will be included in the ‘always on’ promotions • Drive D2C/B2B elasticity analysis alongside with the analytics team, and measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies • Supports the setting of channel specific lever values across the D2C/B2B Channels that align with the strategy and drive profitable growth • Works with stakeholders across the business to execute on profitability initiatives (i.e., defining hero products and ensuring adequate inventory, cost and price) • Analyzes and reports on the ROI of initiatives, helping channels prioritize these initiatives accordingly • Accurately produces pricing reports on a routine basis as well as completing frequent ad hoc analyses • Utilizes competitive pricing to identify pricing gaps and opportunities; perform comparisons to industry/company/benchmarks • Works cross-functionally with internal customers to provide guidance and alignment on profitability strategies, new products, and promotional activities. • Maintains MAP prices for SimpleTire, ensuring SimpleTire and its marketplaces are MAP compliant • Other Duties as assigned
• Degree in finance, analytics, accounting, or related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent experience • Minimum 2 years of pricing and/or profitability experience • Minimum 3 years of financial and/or analytical experience • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated intermediate experience with SQL/MySQL • Possess an understanding of business, data and analytics and can effectively manipulate and analyze large amounts of data • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated • Strong communication skills, leveraging these skills to lead projects made up of cross functional teams that deliver high quality results • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel and Data Visualization Tools (i.e., PowerBI) • Detailed understanding of P&Ls and how changes in revenue or expense line items lead to adjustments in profit • Ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate understanding • High level of interest in the tire industry and/or multi-channel e-commerce
