• Skillsoft is currently seeking a highly qualified Product Manager to join the Ecosystem Integration Team. • The Product Manager is responsible for driving and managing product releases based on the needs of customers and the business. • This includes providing guidance on product dependencies, prioritizing needs, and making tradeoff decisions that impact releases. • The Product Manager is responsible for defining the scope of present and future products and will work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, User Experience Design, Marketing Communications, Sales, Customer Support and Consulting Technical Services departments. • Collaborate with management and other product owners to build a comprehensive product strategy • Actively manage and maintain the product roadmap and backlog of user stories • Research, document and drive changes to products including new features, minor enhancements, and defects • Participate in an Agile process with Engineering and QA to manage and groom the backlog of work, refine requirements, estimate work effort and plan day-to-day product development activities • Collaborate with User Experience Designers to help build a UX strategy, develop feature-level designs, and usability testing • Assist in conducting market research and analysis of competitive landscape • Work with cross-functional teams to help develop and implement a go-to-market plan • Support product release activities including release planning, product training, demonstrations, and customer presentations • Provide on-going product support to direct sales and channel sales organizations helping them to understand product positioning and key benefits​ • Assist with product documentation when appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Software Product Management (with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a master's degree). • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment • Strong organization skills • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies • Experience with 3rd party integrations and system automation • Experience working in an Agile software development environment • Vendor management experience • Working directly with clients • Experience with APIs, SAML SSO and SWAGER Docs is desired • Domain expertise including Web-based Learning and/or Training Business is desired • Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other Agile software development tools is desired • Experience working with virtual teams is desired
