Description

• Lead vertiport network planning, site acquisition, and partnership discussions in Japan. • Develop and execute on our infrastructure and vertiport rollout strategy with our partners in Japan. • Identify and secure sites using existing landlord contacts and establishing new ones. • Contribute to commercial agreements, including identifying, applying and executing on grant and government funding applications. • Work with planning and other regulatory authorities to secure permissions and consents. • Liaise with eVTOL vehicle manufacturers on infrastructure requirements. • Represent Skyports at meetings and events, including delivering presentations. • Advise the business on infrastructure matters from the Japanese market perspective. • Report to our Head of Asia Pacific based in Singapore and work closely with our vertiport planning and technology teams, based in London UK.

Requirements

• A strong background in real estate and / or infrastructure business development and project management with a strong interest in aviation and new technology • A highly motivated, proactive, self-starter and team-player who likes a challenge and has the ingenuity and resilience to find the solutions to overcome them. • Ability to problem solves on the fly; someone who can ask the questions that have not been asked and can find the answers too. • Being comfortable navigating through ambiguity as this is new industry and no one yet has all the answers. • Proven ability to plan, lead and manage complex projects and concurrent work-streams across multiple business functions, many with tight deadlines and competing priorities. • Flexibility to travel. • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Japanese and English language to execute on our infrastructure projects, and to build strong networks and relationships.
