Description

•Smartcar is on a mission to simplify how people securely connect their favorite apps and services to their cars. •We build developer-friendly vehicle APIs so businesses can use a single integration to make their products available to cars across brands. •Founded in 2015, Smartcar has raised $36M from Andreessen Horowitz, New Enterprise Associates, and Energize Capital. •We are now the leading developer platform for mobility businesses across North America and Europe. •In this role, you'll manage critical accounting operations, financial reporting, tax filings, and financial planning functions. •We’re looking for someone with SaaS experience, preferably in a start-up environment, who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative settings.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s and/or CPA is preferred but not required). •7+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial planning, and reporting. •SaaS industry experience required, preferably in a startup environment. •Strong understanding of GAAP and financial systems. •Experience with tax filings, both local and international (UK VAT preferred). •Excellent analytical and organizational skills. •Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments. •Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects while meeting set deadlines of team deliverables. •Experience using QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Ramp, Salesforce, Rippling, and similar finance tools. •Excellent verbal and written skills.

Benefits
