• Lead and manage data governance activities • Improve the quality of data and manage data protection • Work closely with business leaders to ensure data governance framework compliance • Oversee management of data access in systems • Respond to regulatory data protection requirements • Serve as escalation point for data governance issues • Develop a roadmap for data governance initiatives • Maintain enterprise data inventory • Define quality metrics and ensure policy compliance
• 3-5 years of experience in data governance • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields • Specialist knowledge of data governance principles and practices • Understanding of relevant statutory frameworks applying to data privacy and governance, specifically HIPAA, CCPA, etc. • Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening and interviewing • Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time with minimal supervision. • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Snowflake)
