Description

• Collect and analyze financial information related to cloud expenses • Report on cost trends and track anomalies in usage • Improve accuracy of budgets and forecasts • Create financial models for engineering projects and Go-To-Market decisions • Implement and maintain FinOps practices and methodologies

Requirements

• 5+ years in managing Cloud environments • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies • Understanding of software development in a DevOps culture • Deep understanding of AWS capabilities • Experience with AWS billing and cost management tools • Experience working with relational/NoSQL databases • Proficient with data structuring languages including CSV, JSON, and XML • Demonstrated experience in large data collection and analysis • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations • Comprehension of common business financial practices • Understanding of ML tools like SageMaker and PyTorch • Ability to mentor and lead junior FinOps engineers
