Description

• Sophos is a global leader in advanced security solutions • The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for US GAAP and IFRS tax accounting and forecasting • Prepare quarterly provisions and annual tax disclosures • Possess strong organizational skills and tax accounting expertise • Reports to the Head of Global Tax Reporting and Compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • CPA or MST required • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and working knowledge of IFRS • 7+ years’ experience in a multinational organization (preferably publicly traded) or Big 4 accounting firm • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong knowledge of the OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) tool is desirable • Ability to drive change • Sound commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise personal workload • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in multicultural, international teams focused on identifying practical solutions • Excellent English writing and speaking skills with the ability to present complex subject matter clearly and succinctly
