β’ The Regional Training Manager (RTM) delivers first-class training and support to retail stores, focusing on driving employee excellence and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet learning and development needs. β’ Design and implement training programs and onboarding for new store teams. β’ Help stores achieve operational goals through effective learning strategies. β’ Develop provincial and national store teams through workshops, store visits and online learning activities. β’ Support learners across the entire learning spectrum. β’ Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the region. β’ Work closely with teams to align training initiatives with broader business strategies.
β’ Proven experience in a retail training or learning development role, ideally within the optical or healthcare industry. β’ Ability to travel within the region on a nearly daily basis to deliver training. β’ Strong commitment to customer service. β’ Facilitation and training skills in virtual and face to face delivery approaches, for individuals, small and large groups. β’ Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve success. β’ Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead both large group sessions and one-on-one coaching. β’ Strong financial/business data analysis and reporting skills to measure training effectiveness and impact on business performance. β’ Mentoring & Coaching skills. β’ Apply learning theory within group facilitation in online and face to face environments. β’ Exceptional ability to self-manage and proven ability to plan, prioritise and manage a heavy workload in a flexible manner. β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving and growing business. β’ Proven adaptability and an early change adopter. β’ Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
