Description

•Responsible for providing federal & state compliance support in all aspects of the business. •Monitor, analyze and communicate pending and/or enacted legislation. •Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance. •Analyze and update existing compliance policies and related documentation as appropriate. •Assist with the development and implementation of compliance related policies, guidelines and procedures. •Work with Sales, Operations and IT to ensure data integrity is monitored. •Work with IT and LOS support areas to create, revise and maintain lending disclosures and documents. •Work with multiple departments to review and assess third-party vendor risk. •Act as the point of contact on all vendor due diligence items and implement the vendor management policy and procedure. •Assist in researching and developing policies and outlining statutory/regulatory requirements. •Review marketing materials for compliance. •Conduct testing and monitoring of loan files. •Assist team with other projects as assigned.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree •Minimum 1-3 years in the banking/financial services industry in a regulatory compliance role •Legal and/or paralegal background preferred •Demonstrated knowledge of state & federal law including but not limited to: FDIC and CFPB oversight environment, TILA, ECOA, Reg P, FCRA, and state privacy laws, etc. •Demonstrated analytical skills and research skills •Experience working closely with senior management and board of directors •Handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines •Possess excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communications skills
