• Splunk seeks an Infrastructure Software Engineer for its Cloud group to maintain and troubleshoot SaaS systems • Responsibilities include monitoring stability, troubleshooting problems, and managing deployments • Collaborate with various teams to enhance Splunk Cloud offerings • Opportunity to grow your cloud experience and solve complex problems

Requirements

• 4 to 5+ years of related experience • Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • Software Development and Data Structures/Algorithms • Proficiency in Golang and Ruby • Experience with RESTful APIs • Unix/Linux command line terminal usage • Cloud and container experience • Infrastructure or configuration management as code experience • Knowledge of continuous delivery, testing, security practices • Strong problem-solving skills • Desire to learn and adapt • Passion for ownership and projects • Terraform experience (nice to have) • Multi-tenant infrastructure experience (nice to have) • Puppet experience (nice to have) • AWS experience (nice to have) • GCP or Azure experience (nice to have) • Python or Bash scripting experience (nice to have) • Distributed programming experience (nice to have)
