• GP Batteries is looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager for the Western European Market! • The role involves driving business growth in the B2B battery solution market. • Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities and developing sales strategies. • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners. • Monitor sales performance and implement improvements for profitability. • Travel across regions to meet clients and channel partners up to 70% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the B2B industrial components market • Strong experience in channel management, including managing distributors and resellers in the industrial space • Experience working with large organizations or multinational companies (MNCs) is preferred • Familiarity with industrial sectors such as manufacturing, energy, or automotive is highly advantageous • Strong understanding of the industrial component landscape, including market trends, key players, and supply chain dynamics • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills • Strong analytical abilities with a strategic mindset and business acumen • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Understanding of technical products and the ability to discuss complex solutions with customers, channel partners, and internal teams • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics software to track sales performance and manage customer and channel partner relationships • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Dutch, German, French) is a plus • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused • Strong leadership qualities and a team player • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to travel as needed • A keen interest in sustainability and innovation, with the ability to align sales strategies with environmentally responsible and forward-looking solutions • Alignment with the company’s values of customer-first focus, integrity, and innovation
