📋 Description

• We are assisting our client in their search for a skilled, driven and strategic Vice President of Finance and Administration to join their team. • Our client is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for mental health support, with an emphasis on mobilizing youth and young adults. • With a mission to reduce stigma and encourage open conversations, they are a pivotal force in fostering a supportive mental health community. • The VP of Finance and Administration will oversee all financial processes and lead human resources across the organization. • As a key member of the leadership team, the VP will drive innovation, strategic thinking, and execution of Finance and HR priorities, while fostering relationships, providing team leadership, and collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and other departments. • This is a unique opportunity for a finance and HR executive with strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a high-growth, mission-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or other certification in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA certification and/or MBA preferred • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB topics as applied to nonprofits; must be familiar with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations • HR certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus • High level of financial and analytical skills and extensive knowledge of financial policies, practices, and nonprofit systems • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment, with at least 5 years of managerial experience in leading a team and mentoring staff in a high-growth environment • Proven experience in senior HR role • Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, etc.) • Proven track record in the areas of planning, financial management and operational oversight • Strong interest in and commitment to the mission and goals of the company • Must have Quickbooks Desktop experience; ERP and other accounting software experience a plus • Experience with Salesforce a plus
