β’ We are assisting our client in their search for a skilled, driven and strategic Vice President of Finance and Administration to join their team. β’ Our client is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for mental health support, with an emphasis on mobilizing youth and young adults. β’ With a mission to reduce stigma and encourage open conversations, they are a pivotal force in fostering a supportive mental health community. β’ The VP of Finance and Administration will oversee all financial processes and lead human resources across the organization. β’ As a key member of the leadership team, the VP will drive innovation, strategic thinking, and execution of Finance and HR priorities, while fostering relationships, providing team leadership, and collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and other departments. β’ This is a unique opportunity for a finance and HR executive with strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a high-growth, mission-driven organization.
β’ Bachelor's degree or other certification in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA certification and/or MBA preferred β’ Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB topics as applied to nonprofits; must be familiar with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations β’ HR certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus β’ High level of financial and analytical skills and extensive knowledge of financial policies, practices, and nonprofit systems β’ A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment, with at least 5 years of managerial experience in leading a team and mentoring staff in a high-growth environment β’ Proven experience in senior HR role β’ Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, etc.) β’ Proven track record in the areas of planning, financial management and operational oversight β’ Strong interest in and commitment to the mission and goals of the company β’ Must have Quickbooks Desktop experience; ERP and other accounting software experience a plus β’ Experience with Salesforce a plus
