• Striim is a unified data integration and streaming platform that connects clouds, data, and applications • The Cloud Solutions Architect is an integral part of our Partner and Business Development organization • Looking for highly motivated, hands-on Architects who are passionate about enabling businesses to create value from their data • Work closely with our partners to research, scope, design, and implement cloud integration solutions • You will be the fuel for Striim partnerships to drive revenue growth • This is a customer-focused role, driving toward operational excellence, continuous learning, and mission-critical innovation • This is a fully technical and hands-on position
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, e.g., Sales Engineer/Pre-sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Customer Success Engineer • 4+ years of experience with database management systems software such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Programming Language • 3+ years of experience programming languages such as Java, Python, Shell scripting • Experience working with or for a major cloud service provider (e.g AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Experience working with Change Data Capture (CDC) and large data environments, data warehousing, date lakes, and data integrators. • Experience working with cloud security and networking • Experience working with Message Systems such as Kafka and JMS • Knowledge of Snowflake, Google BigQuery and Databricks • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills • Ability to travel occasionally (up to 25% of the time) • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience
