• Subsplash is an exciting award-winning team of 280+ mission-driven people committed to our core values. • Working at Subsplash is more than just a job; we are a team of people who are courageous and passionate. • As the Director of Accounting (Controller), you will be a key player in leading Subsplash through our next stage of growth. • You will be a hands-on leader who will drive scale for the accounting function. • You will mentor and manage the accounting team and be responsible for all accounting operations. • You will develop and implement the systems, processes, and internal controls that will keep the company thriving for years to come.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, 5-7+ years of experience in accounting management • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field • CPA license • Strong experience with full-cycle accounting processes & financial statement audits • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition and its application to a SAAS business • Experience at a $50M+ revenue company • Excellent ability to synthesize large quantities of complex information into actionable written & verbal communication • Ability to mentor team members to develop future leaders for our next round of scale • Ability to maintain high attention to detail amidst a fast-moving, high-growth environment • Ability to communicate and manage effectively with all levels of the organization and with a remote workforce • High level of integrity, dependability, and ability to exercise sound judgment • Strong problem solving skills and a results-orientation. • Strong organizational and project management skills • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate others • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Demonstrate our core values: Humility, Innovation, and a Drive for Excellence • SAAS & Payment Processing experience strongly preferred • Buy-side mergers & acquisition + integration experience strongly preferred • Sell-side diligence & transaction experience preferred • Private Equity or Venture Capital backed experience strongly preferred; public company experience is a plus • Public accounting experience preferred • Strong understanding of equity accounting (options, stock compensation, buy/sell transactions) preferred • Preferred systems experience: Netsuite, Stripe, Salesforce
