•Summer Health is seeking a dynamic and driven Head of Payer Sales to spearhead our business development efforts, particularly within Medicaid and health plan markets. •This individual will play a pivotal role as the first sales hire, structuring deals, driving growth, and closing transformative partnerships that expand our reach and impact. •Lead sales efforts to secure partnerships with Medicaid programs, health plans, and other key stakeholders. •Structure, negotiate, and close complex deals to drive revenue growth. •Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy tailored to health plans and Medicaid. •Analyze market opportunities to prioritize high-impact partnerships. •Leverage an existing rolodex of contacts within Medicaid and health plans to open doors and build relationships. •Operate as a "doer" and execute sales strategies hands-on. •Establish sales processes, tools, and frameworks to scale the function as the business grows. •Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership to align solutions with market needs.
