Description

β€’ Manage a sales territory in New York, NY and surrounding markets β€’ Focus on outside sales and account management of fluid control, fluid filtration, and fluid handling products and customers β€’ Solidify and further develop existing relationships with key customers β€’ Identify and sell new prospects from current clients, referral leads, and other sources β€’ Build ongoing value through updating customers' knowledge of products/applications, assisting in product selection, and providing appropriate training β€’ Prepare and submit a weekly sales call plan to Regional Sales Manager (RSM) β€’ Use ACS to document all customer contact and sales activities β€’ Regularly communicate with Inside Sales, RSM, and other team members on territory sales strategy progress and problem resolution β€’ Continually improve product/sales skills and market/application knowledge β€’ Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times

Requirements

β€’ 4-year college degree OR equivalent experience β€’ 1+ years of field sales/outside sales and account management experience β€’ Demonstrated sales acumen β€’ Previous experience within industrial sales focused on fluid control systems, fluid filtration systems, fluid handling products is preferred β€’ Valid Driver's License β€’ Ability to lead and coordinate a sales team effort β€’ Organized, detail-oriented, quick learner with ability to grasp new concepts β€’ Ability to facilitate training sessions β€’ Effective verbal and written communication skills β€’ Basic mathematics aptitude necessary (decimals, fractions, algebra) β€’ Mechanical Aptitude β€’ MS Office proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
