📋 Description

• Job Title: Fraud Data Analyst • Location: Remote, US • Reports To: Head of Business Data Analytics • Company: Sunbit builds financial technology for real life. • Role: part of Business Data Analytics team at Sunbit, reporting to Head of Data. • Support Fraud department leaders in analytical research and emerging trends analysis. • Monitor key fraud metrics to proactively identify and address potential risks. • Respond quickly to fraud rings and collaborate with the business to implement new strategies to mitigate emerging fraud threats. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve fraud insights. • Support simulation of Sunbit KPIs for major fraud strategy changes.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with a master’s degree in a quantitative field (Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, etc.) • Proficient in data analysis using SQL, with a strong eagerness to acquire new technical skills • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis (preferred) • Familiar with BI tools, including Sigma (a plus) • Strong analytical capabilities, skilled in identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies in data • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills • Able to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience in the financial services industry (credit cards, loans, or similar instruments) • Passionate about solving real-world problems through data-driven insights • Enthusiastic about improving fraud detection systems to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities • Experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or related fields (preferred) • Ability to see the big picture and think long-term • Strong growth mindset and proactive ownership of projects • Lives the 80/20 principle to maximize efficiency and results
