Description

• Reporting to the Learning & Development Senior Manager. • The Learning & Development Consultant partners with business unit leaders. • Develops performance and learning solutions for new hires and existing employees. • Strong emphasis on customer service etiquette, and product knowledge in disability, leave management, and supplemental health. • Design learning solutions using various digital tools and platforms. • Deliver training to new hires and existing staff. • Collaborate with hiring managers on staffing projections, new hire effective dates, and training schedule. • Oversee trainee learning and behavioral progress, providing regular feedback and guidance. • Develop and deliver evaluation tools, metrics, and protocols for stakeholders. • Track and report results and outcomes of learning solutions efficacy. • Address any learning program deficiency root cause with leadership. • Propose recommendations​ to enhance the program and individual performance. • Collaborate across FullscopeRMS and Sun Life to leverage expertise, technology, and best practices.

Requirements

• Ability to work with a diverse range of people. • Minimum 5 years of Long Term Disability (LTD) case management experience. • Learning & Development experience (Facilitation and Instructional Design) with a background in disability/leave management. • Product knowledge in areas of leave management, short- and long-term disability, and supplemental health, or equivalent related products. • Instructional design expertise is highly preferred. • Ability to translate business goals into desired on-the-job performance. • Ability to determine whether training is part of a viable solution to correct performance gaps. • Strong knowledge of customer service standards and providing service excellence. • Strong communication skills. • Work effectively with others who have different perspectives, backgrounds, and/or styles. • Ability to provide constructive feedback to learners and colleagues. • Self-starter: ability to partner and work with subject matter experts. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Supporter of diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite/Teams. • Strong presentation skills. • Understanding of how adults learn best. • Understanding of what creates a positive User Experience.
