Description

• Evaluates the impact of internal and external health vendors on catastrophic claims. • Develops pricing strategies reflecting health vendors’ impact in stop-loss pricing. • Partners with Underwriting, Distribution, and Product Management to grow profitable relationships. • Establishes effective pricing models for evaluating traditional medical networks. • Provides ongoing pricing assessments of administrators and PBMs. • Mentors, trains, and develops actuarial students.

Requirements

• Ability to work with a diverse range of people. • Fellow or experienced Associate of the Society of Actuaries with at least 5-7 years of relevant actuarial experience. • Strong project management skills with a proven commitment to quality and meeting deadlines. • Strong application of mathematical and statistical methods to measure health outcomes. • Ability to work effectively with multiple functional areas. • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with a broad range of internal clients.
