📋 Description

• Oversee medical safety activities and processes for assigned products • Provide strategic, patient-focused leadership for medical safety • Manage/oversee physicians and Health Care Professionals (HCPs) • Interacts with and influences colleagues for safety strategies • Oversees signal detection and risk management activities • Leads PSPV Safety Team (GST) and Safety Management Team (SMT) • Prepares and presents materials to the Takeda Safety Board • Manages reactive responses to emerging safety signals • Ensures high-quality analyses for regulatory submissions • Supports Global Medical Safety Therapeutic Area Head

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD) required or internationally recognized equivalent ideally combined with Advanced Degree • 8 years+ of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research, or Clinical Development • Minimum of 3 years of experience in people management • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory agency requirements regarding drug safety • Ability to comprehend and synthesize complex data • Experience operating in a multi-disciplinary drug development environment • Identifies opportunities in the medical safety landscape • Experience in people management at a leadership level • Good analytical/judgment capabilities • Well-developed time management skillset • Computer literate • Self-resourced with initiative • Strong facilitation and meeting leadership skills • Excellent communication skillset
